Hi Sid, I also lossed my ac shroud in a very strong wind in Kan.,
last spring.My compresser was not working, so i elected to remove the
condenser. I'm glad i did, I found stress cracks in the top of my
coach. You have 4 mounting bolts to remove, disconect the 2 a/c lines
and 2 wires
going to the condenser. Cap of the A/c lines and mark the 2 wires for
the the comp., At some time you may wont to make thing work again. In
time, I intend to rebild the system, (r134) new compressor and new
condenser. Mike Hohnstien can inlighten on this more so, he has been
there/done that.
