Brake light issue 87FC35
Well, it was a few months until I had my Bird out again to try some stuff out on
this problem. But I went to Padre Island for New Years, and at least have the problem isolated now. When I turn off the trans retarder (switch on panel under gear selector), the issue goes away. So it appears it is the sensor that you described that turns the brake lights on when the retarder is turned on. I haven't pulled it out yet, but I will. THANKS AGAIN to the forum for your help!
