1976 diesel F-29296
What does it take to fit a 555 into a Bird that was set up for V8 engines? Some
pictures of the engine area would be interesting.

but I don't think they did anything special. Change the fuel filter, diesel
grows algae. The genset is taking more work as it is a gas unit in mine. Carb
was all gummed up and still surges. Might need the carb replaced, but it does
run and make volts.

sat neglected for 6 years and started right up with only a new battery. Have put
a couple hundred miles on it already.

Could those be original?
