Hi Paul,

 

If you are interested there are two Blue Bird Chapter Rallies and one WOG Rally in that same time frame.  I have copied the Rally Schedule below, also I have copied my President's report which will give you some information about the two Blue Bird Chapter Rallies.  In order to attend the Blue Bird Chapter rallies you must be a member of the Blue Bird Chapter of FMCA or a guest.  Pease consider yourself as a guest of mine shoud you decide on going to one or both of the rallies.   The rally info and fees are in our latest newsletter and can be found by going to www.wanderlodge.us/ .

President’s Report

July 1st 2011!!!!

Yes, that’s right July 1, 2011 is the dead line for you to get your reservations in for the Illinois Amish Rally and the Blue Bird Summer Rally in Michigan. Over the past several weeks I have had so many of you tell me that you are going to join us in Illinois and Michigan. I just want to remind you that you only have 30 days in order to get registered.

You will find all the information for getting registered in the following pages of the newsletter. However, I want to make it as easy as I can for you to get signed up and join us for a whole lot of fun.

Illinois Amish Rally: (August 2^nd through August 6^th) Call the staff at Camp Lakewood in Effingham, IL at 1-217-342-6233 and make your own reservations for an RV Site. You will pay the campground directly for the RV site, special rally fee of just $24.00 per night or a total of $96.00 for the four days. Then download a copy of the Rally Registration form in this newsletter and fill it out and send it along with your check for $176.00 for a coach with 2 people or $88.00 for a coach with one person to: Treasurer, Blue Bird Chapter of FMCA, 3590 Round Bottom Road, Cincinnati, OH 45244.

Blue Bird Summer Rally: ( August 10^th through August 15^th) Call the staff at Hearthside Grove RV Resort and make your own reservation with them, (1-231-347-0905). The cost of this all inclusive rally at one of the country’s best know high end resorts is just $499.00. Optional, if you want to include a day on Mackinac Island (includes sight seeing ferry trip to and from the Island and lunch) add $69.00 per person.

I have had several members asking about information about the Blue Bird Chapter 2^nd Annual Family Reunion and all I can tell you is that it will be October 25 through October 30, 2011. We have reserved sites at Camp Jordan in East Ridge (Chattanooga), TN. All the details will be in the July issue of the Blue Bird Newsletter.

If there has ever been a year to get the Bird out and attend some great rallies this is the year. So until we see you “On the Road Again” in Illinois or Michigan or Tennessee drive safely and have a great summer.

Paul, There are many BB owners in the state of Michigan. at one time there were 33 in the Blue bird Club and some 20 in the Vintage Blue Bird Club. In fact there is a Rally this August in Petoskey, MI August 10 to the 15th if yu are interested. $500.00 to play if you are not familiar to Michigan it would be a good intro to the northern area of the state.
