Joe,

OK. Close call. Now that we know that, I think an FC should be no problem
clearing. An SP I'm not sure about.

But an added question becomes what is the height of an 80s model PT or SP with
the suspension down? I suspect about 11'8" or so. Maybe Bob can measure his for
you.

In the end result, the only way to be sure before buying is to precisely
measure the door opening and the Bird you are interested in with suspension up
and down. Too many variables to be sure without actually measuring (Original
size tires? Any incline into the door opening? What's added on the roof?,
etc.). Is your approach into the doorway level with the interior floor?

In my case, I have an incline into my building on the front side. My 83 PT40
cleared my door frame with room to spare, but my 91 has to have the suspension
dropped to clear after I get halfway in.
