Clearance required
Depending the type of door and door track mechanism, the door may be able to be
raised higher into the ceiling. Other have lowered the floor especially at the entry point. The same model can vary by inches, depending on tire size , ride height, & stuff on the roof. If you are considering a 12 foot door, some Birds will clear others may not. If a few inches are an issue, dumping the suspension will help lower the height by a few more inches. Several Birds were measured last year at a Rally, there is a chart in post #20. > > http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.com/fo...347&page=2 > > > Bill Pape 1988FC Michigan > > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Joe" > > > > I'm still at it, trying to find a suitable coach that will fit in my warehouse. > > > > Can anyone tell me the clearance height of a BlueBird BMC 37? > > > > I realize this is not a BMC forum, but just maybe someone here knows and would tell me. > > > > Thanks, > > Joe > > Indian Harbour Beach, FL > > > |
