Black Water Tank Repair; was Re: Thanks,
Mike,
What caused the pinhole in the tank? And could it have been prevented? We fixed a few minor air leaks, added some freon to the dash ac, and the biggie was repairing a pinhole leak in the black water tank. We now know how to remove the holding tanks and freshwater tanks from a 96. It is really not that bad a job. I got a quote to repair it of about $2000 and we probably have 5 or 6 hours in the repair. We have also found some really good food around here. Thanks to Pat and Steve for their hospitality and help with the repairs. We will be heading to Kinder Monday to meet my parents then back to South Padre and work for the winter. Hope to see many of you visit during the winter. > |
