Gone and done it
Ralph, Congrats on the new toad. You will love it. Barbara and I have had
aboout 8 different CJs & Wranglers. The simplest wiring system is to add
another bulb in the tail light and wire it separate. No Hassles and very easy
to do. I was really irritated about the expense and the PITA that the newer
Wrangler base plates were. I don't know what youo intend to use for a brakeing
system but simple is better. I have one and have never liked it. It is only
because it is required that I have it. I sold the last Wrangler last year and
went back to a Hummer H3 for a tow car. Cost 15% of whar the Wrangler base
plate was and just as solid. Enjoy the new Jeep. They are fun. Hope to see
you two soon. Mike & Barbara 2001 LXI
