WOW! If it's the best you ever had, then you must have owned some
dogs. I would say that whoever owned the coach before you did not
do any of the regular service required on you generator. I have
driven a BB more than 100,000 miles and the most serious problem
I've ever had with a generator is a need to replace the thermostat
and a fuel pump. In the future, get yourself an infrared
thermometer and check the temperature difference between the inlet
side of the radiator and the outlet. It should be a minimum or 15
degrees. If it's much smaller than that, then have it cleaned.
