Yes, red and green are brakes, and only brakes. I would guess that someone might
reverse the colors during connection, but standard says red/front, green/rear.

Because the brake system is protected, leaks in something like air bags cannot
produce rapid drop in the brake pressure unless you also have a problem with the
protective one-way valves. So, I would concentrate on the front tank and brake
lines before looking elsewhere.
