GENERATOR HELP 1990 WB40
I did look into that I don't see one on either the radiator or the overflow unit
I did check the solinode start stop and its not getting 12 volts full time just when you hit the start switch it seems like its in shut down mode I have checked everything I can see there's got to be a relay or something I'm missing or it could be a bad temp shut down switch still looking thanks ANY HELP FROM ANYONE WOULD BE APPRECIATED -- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "irmagoo" > > hi my 94 wb has horizontal radiator also,,it has a air bleed valve.(looks like radiator drain valve only on top side) that you must use to purge air or gen set trips on high water temperature ...you may have the same-worth a second look...hope this helps-good luck with yours...mike > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Jamie" > > > > Thanks for your reply > > yes it is a water hose and yes I did loos some antifreeze > > I did replace the hose and did fill the water tank > > At first I thou rt the same thing not enough water > > so I ran it to get the water moving and then added more, > > The radiator it laying flat so there is no fill point for that > > I cant find the breaker in the genny compartment. > > > > > > > > > > > > anderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Markus Meyer > > > > > > > > > > > > Jamie, > > > I'm assuming by water hose you mean coolant hose? And I also assume that after replacing it you made sure the coolant level was corrected? Because if not, it will sense the low coolant level and cause issues. Again, assuming you already did all of this, I'd still double check your level and if ok, move on to other testing to see if you have a new issue unrelated to the first. Did you check the breaker in the box in the gennie compartment? Make sure no fuses got tripped? > > > > > > Markus > > > > > > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > > > From: jamiejbrandt@ > > > Date: Fri, 20 Jul 2012 13:48:03 +0000 > > > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] GENERATOR HELP 1990 WB40 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > HI ALL > > > > > > I have a 12.5 Yanmar generator > > > > > > I sprung a leak in my water hose so the Genny shut down > > > > > > I replace the hose and now it will not start > > > > > > I understand it has a shut down switch > > > > > > dose anyone know how to check that?? > > > > > > If I pull back the fuel solenoid it will run only if I hold it back > > > > > > it dose not generate power running like that > > > > > > dose anyone have any Idea's of this problem?? > > > > > > anyone know if there is any breakers that I could be not seeing?? > > > > > > any help would be great > > > > > > Im on my way to the keys and have no ac > > > > > > thanks > > > > > > Jamie Brandt > > > > > > 1990 wb40 > > > > > > jamiejbrandt@ > > > > > > |
