The adventures of Ron on the road

The job was completed about 9:00 pm last night. When I went to move the coach
into our regular spot, the transmission was slipping. Turned out he didn't put
in enough fluid. Added more and it appeared to be O.K.. Today we decided to
stay and play golf, so we will see if everything is O.K. tomorrow. I'll run it
about 10 miles to heat up the fluid and re-check to make sure the level is
proper. Let's hope all is good.

facing side of the tranny pan. He had already found a diesel repair outfit that
had send a man over to remove the pan and take it back to the shop for a welding
repair. He was waiting for the repairman to return last night and reinstall the
pan and a bunch of ATF (he doubts they have Transynd synthetic). On a positive
note, whatever he ran over did not appear to have done any other damage to the
Bird or the toad. Such is life on the road, every trip is an adventure!
