Oskosh EAA airshow
I went last year. WOW! what an event!
Went 3 days before it started. Like that better, less security, freedom of movement, etc. It is dry camping. Park on NICE grass, rope off your spot so no one claims any of your spot. Looks like about 50,000 RV's at the height of the event. NO PROBLEM though. Could have handled more! Would suggest that you go early if you want to "rally" some rigs together. Get a good seat(if there is such a thing, I like to be on a hump case it rains)closer to the action. Group up somewhere outside the gate and go in at the same time, as they do not allow you to "save" someone a spot, first come first served. Really worth it to go! If you do not belong to the Experimental Aircraft Association, you will have to join if you want to camp there. Might get to go, not sure yet...
