Excessive oil useage.

Tom,

Don't know what it replaced. There is a container on top of the
valve cover with a removeable screen mesh. The vapors and sometimes
a wisp of smoked oil exit thru a one inch tube to below the
engine. The screen mesh must be serviced occationally.
Some 3208's have different options, this could have something to do
with the turbo set-up. Many times the Cat manual states repair or
service, "If equipped"
