Where to dispose of antifreeze?
A lot of discussion going on about draining/refilling cooling
systems. But where do you dispose of the old antifreeze? Called Autozone and few other places and they said they don't take it. The landfill here is the only place that takes it and it costs a small fortune to dump it there. I want to say it was around $2 a gallon! This can be pretty pricey when we're talking about system with 60+ qt capacity. Suggestions? I want it to be as safe as possible. Also, could someone briefly go over the correct way to drain and refill a system properly while avoiding air bubbles or other problems? My system has some bad corrosion and I'd love to flush, but I'm afraid of not doing it correctly and possibly damaging something. And of course I have STILL yet to find a manual detailing on how it should be done on these shuttle buses. thanks, Steve 2 '98 BB QBRE Partybuses |
