Have the values dropped even more on older birds?

Have the values dropped even more on older birds?
I agree with you 100%. I'm not suprised to see SOME depreciation,
but I just thought seeing comperable mid 30k busses last year look
like they were down to mid 20k this year was MUCH more than I
expected. It just really caught me off guard and I was curious if I
was seeing things that weren't there or if there really was some
kind of market crash in our midst.

Mine's a NA. Thanks for cheering me up about that too. Smile

It just seems that at the current rate, the 80 vintage birds will be
going for like 12k in a few years - which I don't understand since
ones from the 70's were still above that last year.

Saving grace of a bird is you can keep fixing on it and it won't
bend or break due to use, but it's still a motor vehicle. If you
have a turbo it's better as it is a tough sell on a NA. Gotta
remember the mfrs are throwing incentives at end users to keep
selling their wares, that hurts the value of used equipment of all
kinds.
