Financing a classic coach - HOW TO??
When I went shopping for a loan on my 83 FC35SB, I found a loan from
my local credit union which I took advantage of. After the paperwork was all done, I discover a loan available from my Insurance company (USAA) which offered a better rate. I hope this helps. I know that finding a loan for the older motorhomes can be a challenge. What I think I might be able to swing puts me into an older group of absolutely beautiful busses. The problem is that I have no idea where I would turn to acquire reasonable financing for a cherry of a 72 Prevost, or a beautifully converted and cared for 1955 GMC "Sienic Cruiser" with the upper level and vista roof. I know this is the Bluebird crowd, but we are also a bus crowd with a VERY deep pool of life experiences. Does anybody have any experience with this? I know there are lots of older sweethearts out there that still rightfully bring high dollars. I just find it impossible to believe that every coach sold that is older than like 1982 is a cash deal. What do you know? John |
