Water drain in Fuel tank question
If it has never been opened, no fuel will gush out due to sediment
build up. Once you break the sediment "damn" loose, fuel will gush
out. You can easily put the bolt back in even with fuel gushing out,
but will get a minor shower. Use a large oil pan to catch it, wear
old clothes, eye protection, and have soap and water near by.

I was at 1/2 tank when I did this, and drained it 2 days in a row
(about 1/2 gallon each time) to get the majority out. (some swirling
then settling).
