It's possible it is from a previous repair but I don't see/feel any glue or patch remnants. The hole looks pretty round...like it could have been a drill bit, screw driver, etc. that punctured it but that wouldn't explain the abrasion/scuffed area...but a bike tube patch repair would. Spoke with Roger at DRI this morning and he is sending out a new seal which will probably ship next week....just have to find someone who can put it in. He would like to know how it failed so I'll take more pictures once I get it changed out. In the meantime, I still want to try a patch or maybe even a trimmed tire plug. Should be getting a 0-30PSI pressure gauge tomorrow that I can mount to the manifold and check the regulated pressure side prior to trying any patch.
