RE: Reading Manifold Temperature with VMSPc
Hi John,
The ambient temperature sensor (ATS) is a DDEC V sensor which is upstream of the turbo, (on the air cleaner side), our DDEC IV's don't have this sensor. The inlet air temperature sensor is mounted to the bottom of the intake manifold. I'm not sure what the maximum value is before a code is logged but I seem to recall mine never exceeding about 125 to 130 deg F. (In my Prevost I'm not running Silverleaf so I'm going by memory on my previously owned LXi). david brady, '02 Wanderlodge LXi 'Smokey' (Sold), '04 Prevost H3 Vantare 'SpongeBob' "I don't like being wrong, but I really hate being right" |
