RE: Misc Electrical issues
Well, this little task got taken care of yesterday. Finally picked up four H9411 bulbs and got the landing lights all replaced. Much easier than on the 91. Just pop the bulbs out of the rubber gasket, put a small amount of petroleum jelly on it to help pop the new bulb in. Took about 5 minutes each, taking time to check the voltage, wipe out the rubber housing and lube the outer rubber edge. Curiously, I must have had a dislexic wiring guy at the factory since the right landing light switch on the dash turns on the driver side lights and of course the left landing light switch operates the passenger side. We got a good laugh out of that. Swapping those switch connections will be WAY down the priority list unless someone a quick way to do it in the outside wiring panel under the driver’s seat. ?
