A sobering reminder to stay attentive
I saw recent coach fire occurred to Andrew Steele. While he's a Newell guy and very supportive of the brand, this could have happened to any large coach owner.
I don't know that there's been a determination of the cause of the coach fire. It seemed like it went from very small to very large in just a few minutes. I'm not sure it was preventable. Here's his video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbgNI1W6Y0k It definitely stresses the importance of paying attention to everything. Maybe you can catch a problem before it gets to this point, maybe not. But once a fire is started, recognize that you need to just get out. The stuff can be replaced. Andrew mentions fire extinguishers and suppression systems in his video. With the location of the fire, a suppression system may not have done much. It's possible that the genny is what started the fire and a suppression system there may have helped. It definitely gives us all something to think about. This is certainly a tragedy that I wouldn't want to happen to any fellow rv'er.
