gen radiator update, question on insulation

Woody, your exactly right I could have used more. I think I got 2.5
sheets from Stephen. One note..If you have not completed the project
yet I noticed the clearance on the front (body panel)and the water pump
pully was REALLY CLOSE. Mine is cutting into the material. Not a biggy
for me cause the genny not working exactly right. Also the idea of
screws and fender washers is a good one for the top of the compartment.
The material is so heavy (it has to be) I think with all the vibrations
from genny running, and driving down the road, the best idea is to
secure that section. The rest has held up great. A 5.00 roll of
aluminum tape to finish corners etc makes for a clean upgrade.

I am gonna make one last attempt to fix it myself since I now have
relays, regulators etc "in stock" lol. Just waiting for the heat to
subside a bit. Should that fail (with my mechanical ability coupled
with my patience level being stuffed under there) dont bet the ranch
that I will fix it sooooo maybe a bunch of good/like new parts may be
for sale. I will have the answer soon!!
