Entrance step
Just got done working on mine.
I had two issues.

1. There are two ground wires that come off the air solenoids. Each
wire grounds each of the solenoids. They are grounded at a common
connector. Check this ground.

2. There are two power leads that go to the air switch solenoids.
One powers the solenoid in one direction and the other powers it in
the opposite direction. I would have a helper push the Door Jam
Switch and see it you get power on one or the other wire. One has
power when the door is closed and the other has power when the door
is open. Be careful. The step can cycle and take a finger.

Also you will notice two buttons on the end of each air solenoid
switch. If you have air pressure you can manually push the buttons to
cycle the step up and down even without power.

3. The strip switch is the wire that runs along the edge above the
step. If you were to get a foot stuck between the step and the
chassis the step is stopped.

4. You can also adjust the speed of the steps in and out on the air
switch.
