Tires and Balancing
Scott, use the equal balance, make sure that the installer puts the right valve
core in with the filter and marks the stem so the next tech knows that the tire has equal. New Michelins XZ2 are on the way late July date code!! My question is how do you all balance your tires?? I know a while back there was some discussion; but golf balls and ball bearings don't seem right for some reason. The dealer will install equal for 9.00 per tire if I want it. Anyone using it??? Will it affect in any way any tire pressure monitoring system like "cat eye" (not sure about that one) I am open for opinions on this one its expesive so I want to make sure I do the right thing here...Thanks in advance Scott B 86FC35 "RUBY" Murrells Inlet SC (right next to heaven) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ YAHOO!
