Overhead Dash Switches for TV Antenna & Circuit Breaker Test
1) How do I get the switches out? I've tried pushing together on the
ends, as I figured they just popped in and expanded. That didn't work. I don't want to try prying them because I don't want to scratch the electroluminescent surface of the dash. 2) Is there a way to test the 15amp circuit breakers while in place? I hooked up a multimeter wire to each post, set on volts, and pushed the switch. The reading remained at 0.00 I'm thinking it should have gone up to 12+ volts with the switch engaged. Is this correct thinking or am I trying to make the CB into a relay? Should the multimeter be on amp setting? Steve Harrie St. George, UT Muddling my way thru some more projects on an '86 PT38 |
