Was Flushing genset cooling system; Now Rita
Steve,
Thanks for the offer, but if I was going anywhere on I-10 right now, it would be west, away from Rita's path. Besides, when I offered to bring extra ammo and help you chain saw over Labor Day, there seemed to be a significant blockage issue on I-10 east bound. Nope, gonna follow your lead and sit tight,... we'll be fine, we're way inland. May trim back some of the trees around the house in the morning, however. 8^) Kind of impressive that Rita has basically gone from Category 1 to near Category 3 (1 mph shy according to late news) in less than 24 hours. Being quick learners, FEMA, National Guard, and Pentagon already have people in Austin and San Antonio. Mandatory evacuations begin in Galveston tomorrow. I do hope our Lone Star Birds members in the Houston and Galveston areas have the Birds loaded and are headed north. Robbie, Andre, Gene and Andrea, are you folks on the move yet?! Good luck you guys!
