Dometic refrigerator

An additional point to check; my Dometic had an
"in-line 12V fuse" located within the outside access
hole compartment that was not shown on the schematics
and that I discovered quite by accident. It was
wrapped with electrician's tape making me believe it
was a butt-splice that had been excessively taped.
Upon unwrapping, it appeared as an original red #12
gauge, stranded wire, in-line, fuse connection and not
someone's afterthought spliced into place.
