Pete,

We were unable to find a suitable unit the replace the Sharp
micro/convection in our 87 FC. All of the newer ovens we looked at had the fan
assembly
protruding from the rear of the unit. The depth clearance made most large
units unacceptable.

We purchased a much smaller Sharp oven from Wal-Mart for about $200. It
works fine, but generates a great deal of heat. I added a small blower in
the extra space to dissipate the heat.

BTW, there's a lot of wiring directly behind the oven on our FC.
