Refrigerator
Most refer's used in RV's are the ammonia cycle while most "home type"
are the freon cycle. The ammonia cycle uses a gas flame most of the time for the power source to make the unit work. (Serval makes an ammonia cycle refer for home use also.) The freon cycle utilizes a compressor as the power source. Gas for the flame is more available in most RV's than electric. And often is cheaper, though that is changing.
