Looking for recommendations when selling a Wanderlodge
Howdy, We put our '78 FC 31' on Vintage Birds and RVTrader.com (list until it
sells was a good deal). It took seven months, but a buyer in Costa Rica saw it
and flew to check it out. We picked him up at the airport in the coach and after
we got out of traffic he drove it to our house. We put a nice package together
with copies of the maintenance log (Complete maintenance records tell the buyer
you are serious about the coach. Mine are divided into Maintenance,
Modifications, Cost Records, Misc Info.), all the accessories, spare parts, and
receipts, plenty of photos, ready to mail. I offered to spend as much time with
him as he wanted doing all the maintenance procedures. I suggested that
potential buyers come spend the night in it and check it out at their own pace.
The one that bought it did that.I even had a checklist for them that I used to
fix everything. I actually had several (3) lookers who said they were going to
buy it but never came back. If it is clean and easy to
inspect, it will sell itself. The hard part was owning two Birds at once!!

I just sold my 85 using Paul Davis at Mr. Olivers at Princeton Texas with 10%
commission;however I had a ready buyer so he just did the paperwork and gave me
better deal on sale. He moves coaches very quickly by pricing the rig at a
realistic number. Many people own their coaches loner than necessary by trying
to get the lasta dollar; when in fact they waste more time than they get money.
Go to http://www.mrolivers.com and see what Paul will do. Wallace Craig

.Click on FOR SALE. Scroll down to the
bottom. Send email ad with small picture. They will work with you to
list your bird. No cost to you.

Birdconnection.com is another site, but you pay commission. RVTrader.com
is another.
