20" LCD TV $389

I did a little more research. The company that makes this TV (Envision) has been in the computer monitor business for awhile. They make lots of LCD's and CRT's for that application. This has PIP, and a port to let you plug in your computer, to use it as a monitor. What I like to do, is run my digital photos, via a "My Picture's" screensaver thru the computer or TV display. That way I get an everchanging personal photoshow. The screensaver is already on most computers if you have Microsoft operating systems: Start/Control Panel/Display/Screensaver/My Picture Slideshow [in the horizontal bar]. You can adjust the time each picture displays, and how long the computer waits before starting the show by clicking on "Settings". We have hundreds (thousands?)of pictures in our computer, this lets us actually see them. Steve Harrie St George, UT '86 PT38 |
