Alternator for a 8v92
Good morning Nelson:

There are 2 Bosh relays (among several)(and they are usually turned
backwards, so you can't readily see the contacts) on the curb side behind
the access grill to the batteries area, that control the out put of the
alternators. This is selectable by the switch on the dash, alt 1/ alt 2.
The connection to those relays could be corroded or the relays bad. That
would the first thing to check. Then check the out put from the alts.
though I agree, the one on top is a bear to get to.
