Front Rim Replacement, 1979 FC 35
The original rim was an aluminum 7.5x22.5 Accuride (Firestone). They
are "Stud-Piloted" (known to some as "Budd or Budd-Mount") NOT Hub-
Piloted. You will want to match the rim width on the other end of that
axle, probably still the original 7.5" wheel also but it's best to
check.

Alcoa is good, brand can be mixed as long as they are all the same size.

8.25" is more common and easier to find used or new, might be cheaper,
but you'd need to replace all rims on that axle then.

the front of my bus? I'm assuming that I have the original rims on it
and, since my tires are fairly new, I'd like to stick with the same
size. (2) Is there any special information that I need to know to
properly describe my rims? (3) Any recomendations on where to
purchase the rim? (4) Last April someone had written to me about a
place in Florida, I believe it was a truck stop, that had a new rim for
my bus at a darn good price. Unfortunately, I cant' find that
message. Anybody recall such a message? It would have been around
April 8th, 2005. (5) Thanks. Henry Claeys, McAllen, Tx. 1979 FC 35,
