Painting in Mexico
How long did the whole process take?
Thanks Glenn Shehorn 83FC35 KCMo ----- Original Message ----- From: George Lowry To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 10:39 AM Subject: Re: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Painting in Mexico Hi Guy, Actually, the owner insisted that we stay in his house across the street while the coach was in the paint booth. As the family was in Yuma during the week. we had the run of the house. Work was done on time and better than what I had experienced in the US. While there, I observed an average of three to four vehicles leaving the large paint booth per day. I later learned that the had a smaller booth on the other side which was also in use. There were many "Gringos" bringing their vehicles for body work - anywhere from pickups to Mercedes. They also have an upholstery shop and do excellent work there. We took them the bucket seats and rear bench seat from an AMC for our son--in-law. They had to rebuild the seats including springs and only charged $360. I will go back to Navarro's Shop in Algodones, MX for any work. I know many others that have been more than satisfied. FWIW, there is another body shop in Algodones that has a reputation that is just as good.
