Tank Odor
Curt,
We usually put some liquid dish washing detergent in the black tank with a couple of gallons of water before leaving on a trip. This seems to keep the tank reasonably clean. The soap I added the last time had some type of reaction & really stunk up the place. This is the only time we have had any problems in five years of ownership. After the tank was flushed the odor ceased. We have not had any problems since. The soap used this particular time was from a leaking bottle of hand soap. Maybe the soap used in the bathroom sink has reacted with the contents of your holding tank. Just a thought, Have a great holiday, Bill & Rita in Roanoke, VA (55 & sunny) 1987 FC-35 SB [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
