Headlight upgrade-you gotta do this
Bmw offers a hid light or high itensity discharge light on their
vehicles it is much different than the bulbs you purchased The hid lites most often consume 35 watts of power compared to the standard 50 watts of power on a halogen or incandescent bulb the hid bulbs use a ballast to start the lights at a high voltage where a standard bulb use 12 volts the only difference between the bulbs you bought and a regular bulb is either the coating on the glass or the inert gas contained within the bulb or both.
