Headlight upgrade-you gotta do this

In order for Xenon lamps to be DOT street legal they must have the
following markings displayed on the lens "D1S", "D1R", "D2S" or "D2R"
(depending on type of lamp design). Also the letters "DOT" should
appear on the lens to indicate compliance to the U.S. Department of
Transportation regulations. If these markings are not on the lens
then they may not be used on public roads.
