Auxillary LP connection
On my FC, in between the entry door and the generator tray, there is
a small door that I have been told is where they put the gasoline tank filler on models that came with a gas generator. Since my unit came with a diesel gen, though, there is no gas filler...instead, behind the door is a quick-release socket like that at the end of an air hose (female end). I assumed this was an auxillary air valve. Imagine my surprise when I hooked my air hose and discovered that it is actually a connection into the propane system. My questions are these: 1) Is this a factory feature? I can find no mention of it in any manual in my blue box 2) Was there something in particular this connection was intended to run? Some accessory that came with the coach maybe? 3) If I rig up a hose with a quick-connect end, would it be safe to run propane accessories off this connection?
