Best way to add terminals to 2/0 wire?
I did it just like you Kevin, the hammer crimper from Mc Master-Carr was less
than $30, does up to 4/0, and makes nice looking crimps. Then solder and heat-shrink. I think the solder is necessary at the battery end to keep corrosion from getting in between the fine strands of the welding cable.
