Texas driving requirement for motor homes

George, My research came up the same, Class "B". This entails studying
certain chapters in the CDL handbook, a writen test (13 questions) and
about a two mile drive in the RV with a DPS tester with you. I worried
about this, but after I took test and drive I found it was a piece of cake.

When I did my research, I found that a "Commercial" Drivers license is

not required, however, they did require a Class B license for anything

that weighed over 26,000 lb. That was one of the determining factors

as to why we went to SD.
