Indirect Fluorescent Lighting...
I have two of my light fixtures, one mounted outboard on the over-
head storage compartment, and another one over the kitchen sink and both are starting to work part time. The bulbs are ok. At times they work fine, other times at a reduced output, and the one over the sink will periodicaly take a vacation. These fixtures look like they are original. There is a ballast? encased in what looks like wax, several wires running around, a fuse, and a large resistor looking thing. They look 28 years old. I would like to replace the whole fixture with a modern replacement, my old covers still look great. Has anyone been here and done this before? I appreciate any advice... -James 78FC33SB Las Vegas NV |
