Performance of a PT36 vs a PT38
Ron,

Not that anyone buys these things based on fuel economy, but I am
having a hard time believing you got the same mileage with the 6V as
the 8V. I know in my case I generally got 6-8mpg with the 83 PT40,
depending on how tight the nut behind the wheel was wound, and after
two fill-ups with the 91 WB40 I have gotten 4.6 and 4.7 .... NOT
impressed! Both of them are 40s, both had 5 spd tranny, 91 is
heavier, but..... definitely not the same in miles per gallons.
