Fuel Pressure/Vacuum on PT models
Hello all,
This situation has me stumped-- Since purchasing my bird in 2004, I've always seen a moderate to high reading on the Racor vacuum guage, which routinely puts the dial in the high yellow zone or low red. I've replaced both fuel filters 4-5 times a year, flushed the fuel tank, and replaced the gauge. Fuel seems to flow easily from the bowl when I drain the Racor (the lid is still on, so it is pulling fuel from the tank) and I just cannot seem to fathom where the restriction is. Has anyone ever experienced this? __________________ Shane Fedeli 85PT40 Hershey, PA |
