Headlight Relay - Searching
Getting ready to install headlight relays...
I'm not finding a battery combiner. Anyone know where it might be
located on a 1987 PT38? I wonder if BB did not install one. I do find an
insulated terminal in the gen. compartment. That terminal has two
cables. One coming from way back in the coach, the other goes to the
gen. battery +. With the 8V92 running, or with the battery chargers, not
at the same time, that terminal tests about 14.4 volts. Remove the feed
and the terminal tests 13.8 and continues to decrease to lower volts.
Seems to me that terminal could be used to feed #30 on the headlight
relays.

Another option, maybe...
I opened up the front of the bus and find 2 open circuit breakers, 10A
each, 14.3 volts. The feed to that bus bar is at least a #10 wire and
could be a #8. The Silver Star headlights draw a little over 4 amps. Am
I safe using the 2 open circuits? I can replace the 10 amp circuit
breakers with 20 or 30 amp breakers.

Any and all input is appreciated.
