Lug nut torque
Troy,
I remember a discusion some time back about the X12 (times 12) wrench. It's a torque multiplier that fits over the lug nut and allows someone to loosen/tighten lugnuts with a 1/2" drive ratchet. They're quite expensive, $795.00, but maybe cheaper than a 1" air impact wrench. As I remember, it also allowed the use of 1/2" drive torque wrench rather than a five foot lever to achieve the desired torque. Didn't see a link on this forumm, you might check on the other yahoo wanderlodge site or google it. Portable, compact and it doesn't require a high volume compressor (actually it doesn't require a compressor at all). Just another option to consider.
