Just a question?
Being that the question was regarding "FC units", not Wanderlodge,
yes, the BlueBird All-American FC is a school bus. Wanderlodge is what they became after driving them across the street to the Wanderlodge factory to be finished, the All-American body was fitted with special equipment to become a Wanderlodge however such as special powertrain, no side windows, no emergency-exit door, Ridewell suspension, etc. As the FC wanderlodge is based on this bus with modifications, most years came with an operator's manual for the All-American FC in the blue box of both the early FC and PT. Side doors were available for handicap buses etc., front and rear doors also. The pushers were available as school buses also, the tag-axle was necessary with the intended weight of the completed Wanderlodge coach however. - Jeff Miller in Holland, MI --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Tom Warner wrote: > > The Forward control Wanderlodges were not sold as buses.
