Fuel delivery on 3208 and coolant check questions
How is the fuel delivered to the 3208 in an FC? Does it have an electric fuel
pump or a mechanical pump on the engine? I ask because it took mine about 3 revolutions to fire after sitting overnight and I think it was short on fuel. If it is an electric pump, where is it located? I know I have a slight fuel leak where the line comes up to the back of the engine near the clear plexiglass thingamybob filled with fuel. I'm guessing it's letting in air. I've also read somewhere about checking the SCA (?) of the coolant. Can someone explain what this is and why it is important? Where does a person obtain the test strips? Thanks Kerry 82 FC 35 Denver - [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
