Radio Speakers
If the front speakers in your SP36 are like my
'87PT40, Bluebird blew it on the design. On mine, the speakers sit behind a metal mesh that goes the width of the front overhead. The problem is that the rear of the speaker isn't isolated, you hear the front of the speaker and the back. That's a huge no-no in audio design. The sound waves tend to cancel each other out, particularly the bass frequencies. It is worth your time to install speakers in small cabinets behind the grill, the sound difference is amazing.
