Update; STranded in Burnet Texas
I appreciate all the responses that we have had.Thank you. We are in
Burnet TX & only drove the coach about ten miles with the noise
happening when the rpm was transitioning thru 1700. I made sure the
alternator belts were tight, AC belts tight, no leaves in air intake,
air filter checked, and all fluids good. Did not notice anything wrong
with turbo boost but I was not concentrating on that. Visually checked,
looks good to me. The noise is definitely coming from around the axle
area. Could be trany or the differential. Thats the area the noise is
coming from. I have a service center hopefully going to look at it this
afternoon or tomorrow morning. Making lemon aid with lemons. Since we
towed the boat this trip, no car to drive around. Staying at City Rec
Center. Swam last night in indoor pool, they have a computer for use,
phone service better, will go on bike ride later with all 5 kids! I
just hope it will not be a whole crop of lemons. I hate Lemon farming.
Thanks again, pray for competence/knowledge/fairness of mechanic
today/tomorrow.
